My sweet Savannah is TEN!! We have officially entered the world of double digits. She requested a colorful cookie tower for her "cake" and I had fun making a banner for it (and making the stand).
This was so fun and easy aside from all of the helpers I had since I did it during the day. I was already baking and didn't want to turn the oven back on later in the day.
She loved it, so it is deemed a success!
She got an explorer kit with a flashlight, compass, and binoculars.
She loved her binder full of cards with information about different animals.
I think she was trying not to feel disappointed since she had asked for an MP3 player. None of the packages looked small enough for one. This was her very surprised face when she opened it.
This was phase one of the cookie adventure.
