Savannah, Sid, and I made these lava lamps out of household ingredients. They had a great time with it!
And loved it when we got out the flashlight in the dark.
The red worked really well for this, but the other colors were very dark. Blue glowed okay, but didn't show up well in pictures.
Our lamps did not "blob" together very well, but are still cool while you tip them back and forth. If you want to make lava lamps, we used the directions found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Lava-Lamp-with-Household-Ingredients.
