The excitement of July 7th, 2011
The day started out with some seriously crazy hair...
...and a lost tooth (Sid's first!)...
...and progressed to some seriously damaged household items. Really, many things were slightly damaged and one thing was seriously damaged, but it was an expensive thing that we had barely had for a year. Not good.
I was very pleased with myself that I didn't even freak out. I actually didn't even say anything, I just brought him upstairs to his bed until we could both settle down and then carried on with life. I did get rid of the bucket that was smacked against the screen.
We did without electronic forms of entertainment for two weeks just a while back, but for some reason voluntary type of withholding is so much better than the busted and broken type of withholding. The kids actually watched a few movies with only a small section across the top and left sides of the screen functioning. We did without a television for a whole month minus one day. I think that's pretty good.

I have NEVER seen a tv look like that before. It took me a minute to realize that is what it was!
Yeah, it's awesome! We are pretty sure the glass inside of it was shattered.
Looks like art to me. That is a sad, sad day.
Actually, if you go within the next month, it is hanging in the Smithsonian as a center piece for their abstract art section featuring digital revolutions
