Fall Fun

Savannah and Sid's school had a fund raiser that provided a half-off price at a local farmstead. Half off sounded good to us, and we ended up with two young enough to be free! The kids had a great time in the corn maze. We let them pick where we headed although they were required to stay together.
Matthew had fun helping with the stroller until we gave up on maneuvering it on the bumpy terrain.
They did much better than I anticipated with the "stay together" clause.
And everyone who was able to walk did so the entire time! We were glad we chose the small maze since it still took plenty of time.
They were having a great time and were all confused when we made them stop for a picture. You would think this drill would be old news.
 Cute baby and, um, me.
There was a "cow train" that the kids had a great time on.
Many of them said this was their favorite part of the evening.
The fact that the cars were decorated like cows really excited some.
Since it was so early in the season there was no one waiting in line and our kids got a really long ride.
Katelyn watched and played with her rings. I love those chubby legs!
This giant lizard was trying to eat my children.
You would think being consumed would NOT be enjoyable, but they thought it was great.
The animals were fun to pet.
And also to observe without getting too close.
Savannah and Sid loved that the school principal and counselor kissed a pig and the little ones also had fun playing on the playground. Overall it was a great time!!

The real fortunate thing is that we didn't lose anyone in the corn (including myself)
