I get a lot of comments that Katelyn looks just like Savannah. Every once in a while I wonder if that is only because they are both girls (especially since all of my babies have had the same look--as in the cutest babies on the planet). Today she was wearing an outfit that Savannah also wore (10 years ago) and I found this picture of her wearing it.
After thinking about the day this picture was taken (two days after a cousin was born) I figured out that this picture was taken when Savannah was just three days younger than Katelyn is today. Wow.
It was difficult getting a picture where Katelyn has a straight face. She has plenty of goofy people to smile at and the picture of Savannah was a we-will-torture-you-by-sticking-you-with-your-cousins kind of shot. I considered making Katelyn sit with Matthew for her photo, but Matthew didn't agree with that idea. The big difference between Savannah and Katelyn is that Savannah has floppier ears and was even shorter and chubbier than Katelyn is--if you can believe that from my tall skinny girl today!!
And, just for fun, this is me at 5 months old! Too bad I didn't have the same outfit although I did have floppy ears!
