Today is the first day of school for Savannah. My baby girl (who happens to be five) is in first grade this year and the bus comes at 7:15 in the morning. That’s early. It’s even earlier for a mom who has become quite accustomed to a baby who sleeps 10 hours at night and kids who sleep till around 8:30. Well I am sitting here wondering whether I should start up something really productive or not since it is now 9:13 and I am the only person awake in the house. I am about ready to go back to bed, but since I have already exercised, showered, reorganized a huge mess of little girl hair supplies, and read through my lesson for Sunday it seems a little weird to give up and head to bed again. I guess I will get used to actually accomplishing something before noon each day, but for now I think I may need a nap until I get used to it. I just thought I would share with everyone else that 9:15 is NOT morning for my three sleeping boys today.
Now it's 9:28 and Austin IS awake, but staying in his room playing with cars. Apparently the Ghostlight is after Mater again!!

Oh how I wish that that was how it was for me! I am pretty sure Jake will be good at early school schedules. He is up before ANY of us...and that is usually some time around 6:45 and 7:30. I consider you very blessed!
Way to be productive!
I don't appreciate how late your children sleep in. It just blows me away. I just dream of "sleeping in"until 7:30 or so...
