Monday was Matthew's birthday. My little guy is 2 years old now.
He really was quite mellow about the whole birthday fun idea.
He did pull his thumb out of his mouth for some golfing...
...and some food preparation. He loves to help cook, so this was a great one for him.
Of course he wanted to keep working on cutting up "food" instead of coming for birthday cake.
But the fire eventually lured him in.
And he gobbled it up!!
p.s. His cake was a fly with white frosting and chocolate ganache. I went for simple this time since I wanted to make something delicious, rather than just cute (to be continued).
