Our busy week started out with Katelyn's baby blessing on Sunday.
I made her dress last week and was so excited to use the extra-extra-small size on the pattern even though I completely changed the pattern in the process of making this dress the way I wanted. I lengthened and altered the skirt, widened the bodice to allow for pleats, merged the two, added pleats, removed the collar and altered the neckline, and changed the sleeves. About the only similarity to the dress the pattern is supposed to make and the one that I made is that they are both dresses and they both have zippers. It fit her perfectly and turned out awesome. Good thing she is such a beautiful baby to make my work look so good. She even decided to smile for pictures (she was only 2 1/2 weeks old).
Everyone cooperated long enough for us to get a few good family pictures. Every once in a while our family looks pretty decent!
Grandma and Grandpa came for lots of fun!
All of the kids wanted a picture with Katelyn.
Beautiful sisters!
A happy Sid.
Austin is the king of cheesy grins.
William is pleasantly content.
Matthew was busy sitting on the rocks, so we brought her over to him.
She actually lasted the whole day in her dress, so this was her after church Sunday nap on the couch.
Beautiful baby Katelyn!!
