Matthew turned ONE on May 7 and I am still trying to believe it. He is such a cute, sweet, baby that he certainly will never really grow up, right? Hmm. Well for now I can just be happy that he is not walking and thinks crawling for 6 1/2 months is great. I am in agreement.
My little boy likes to play outside...especially in the dirt.

Of course, this inspired me to make a "dirt cake" for his birthday. It was very easy, which was nice and the kids thought it was hilarious.
Of course, fire is always more interesting.
"What is this stuff? It's different from other dirt I've tasted..."
"...and better than other dirt I've tasted. I didn't think that was possible!!"
He's pretty good at sharing his new car toys.
And didn't know what we were up to with the first gift, but had interest in the second present we opened.
