Memories

I have a few friends who are asking people to post their memories, so I thought I would do it too and see what people come up with (maybe even some things I don't remember at all, I have known some of you a REALLY long time!).
Here's what you do:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember lots of projects being put together by you, Jamie, and I for our Human Development major. (Remember when we had to go around to all those houses and do those survey's in our one development class. Were you in my group? Did you do that, or some other part of the research? (Not research methods) *What was that class called again? With the Lady Professor?* And, if we didn't have a class together, we at least saw eachother coming out of the class we were going into, or passing eachother along the way to another class. (Always amidst one another.) :)
I do definitely remember the whole thing with Paul/Amy/I/and you. But, the funny thing I remember about that whole thing was that I later heard you were super nervous to ever even indulge Paul, because you thought the two of us were together. (You've got one great guy Shell! I am glad things worked out for the two of you.)
Here's one specific memory I have though: I had just moved into my Q-1 apartment at Old Farm during my senior year...just after summer break, and you made your way over to my new apartment with cookies in hand. (Which are some of the best cookies that my sister and I continue to make!) Although small ad simple, that act of kindness was one I have not forgotten, and definitely one I'll cherish! Thanks Shelly!

The class was "Infancy and Early Childhood" and was one of my favorites for the entire major (I was fully aware that you did not share my love for that class). The professor was Dr. Austin and a funny thing about her is that she is now in Lisa's ward in Hyrum since they changed up some of the ward boundaries! As far as the cookies go, I remember Q1, but not bringing cookies over there. I am glad you enjoyed them (although I DO remember making chocolate chip cookies on Valentine's Day when Paul showed up to eat the dough and learning that you thought that eating dough was disgusting, consequently, Paul has been around every day since then).

I remember sitting in your parents basement "working" on calculus homework and jamming out to Chumbawumba and that silly Barbie song or something. We didn't get a lot of homework done, but I did manage a 4 on the AP test. Also, who could forget orange rolling on Wasatch Blvd.

Paul--I LOVE YOU!! Too many good memories to count!! Maybe there is even one that you remember and I don't. There's a challenge for you!!

Bugs--"I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world!! life's fantistic, made of plastic!" I think I still have that tape somewhere and you are almost inspiring me to get it out...actually I am pretty sure I know where it is--Savannah would love it!! For the record I also received a 4 on the AP test despite some unserious study sessions. We actually went to a concert the night before the AP History test and I still scored a 4, so I guess I just need to chill out on the studying in order to let my brain work properly.

We should give a special tribute to our orange rolling days. What more can I say? I guess I could explain what in the world that is to anyone else reading this...sounds like a good idea for a post to me!!

My memory with you was after Christmas break when we were living together. We hadn't been getting along so well before the break and then everyone went home for Christmas except me. You were the first one to come back and I was so excited to have someone to talk to that it didn't matter about any differences we might have had. We ended up talking for hours and as the other roomies got home they joined in too. That's my favorite memory because I see it as the start of our friendship and I'm so grateful that we've been able to stay friends for so long!

Tiffany--I am glad we have been friends for so long, too! I was SO happy to have better roommates my second year than the ones I had my first year of college. We may not have all been the best friends in the world, but we WERE friends and COULD talk with each other and that was really nice. Then all those boys started showing up and messing with the system!! :)

This is a fun idea and I enjoyed reading all of these memories. My current memory is of you summersaulting onto your bed and putting a hole into the wall with your foot. We have been sheetrocking and I keep thining of this occasion and think that if any of my lovely children do that I think they better run for their lives. That's funny, huh?
